What is GDPR:
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) is a Regulation by which the European Commission intends to strengthen and unify data protection for individuals within the European Union (EU). It also addresses export of personal data outside the EU.
We will be your Data Receiver:
We will receive the data you send us and use to provide the service requested, the data shall remain secure and confidential at all times and only used as set out in the terms of the agreement. We shall at all times comply with the GDPR. BDS labs Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioners Office ref: ZA388599. These details can be checked at the ICO website or can be contacted on by sending an email to dataprotectionfee@ico.org.
Changes to the data you send us:
Effective 25th May 2018, to assist us in keeping your data private and secure please be advised that we will only process the data which you send us. We will collect contact information for your patients based only on the information you provide us, this may be in the form of initials, codes or full patient names. We will hold this information confidentially at BDS Labs sharing it only with others considered necessary to provide you with our services or where legally we are legally required to do so or in the interests of public or patient safety. We will not share this information with other third parties without your permission.
